Skylights let natural light play across the interior throughout the day, while large north-facing windows create a calming, even ambience. The quality of light shifts through the day and across the seasons, keeping the character of the space dynamic.

This light-touch refurbishment was all about ensuring the client’s budget was spent in the right places. Full-height curtains create privacy and acoustic comfort, while bringing softness to an otherwise hard-edged space. Generous storage is hidden behind a warm wall of birch plywood, contrasting with the cool concrete floors. Organic furnishings create a welcoming lobby where guests can feel at ease.
